Dementia

Dementia Support & Monthly Activity Booklet

At Friends of Giffords Surgery, we are committed to supporting people living with dementia, as well as their families, carers, and friends.

Dementia can affect memory, thinking, and daily life, but staying mentally, socially, and physically active can make a meaningful difference to wellbeing.

Monthly Activity Booklet

Each month, we will be releasing a free activity booklet designed especially for people living with dementia. These booklets aim to:

  • Stimulate memory and thinking
  • Encourage creativity and enjoyment
  • Support conversation and connection
  • Provide gentle, engaging activities for all ability levels

Activities may include puzzles, reminiscence prompts, word games, colouring, and simple tasks that can be enjoyed alone or with others.

Who is it for?

Our booklet is suitable for:

  • People living with dementia
  • Family members and carers
  • Anyone looking to support a loved one with meaningful activities

How to access

The latest booklet will be:

  • Available to download from this page each month
